First time trying this place tonight and Im glad I did.

I don't normally eat this type of food so ordering is always confusing but the website was very descriptive and didnt just expect you to know what is what like other Chinese takeaway menus do.

I was emailed with an estimated collection time and it was ready within 2 minutes of that time (early). Was met with fantastic service on collection by happy staff and a confirmation of my order on hand over of my order so no mistakes were made.

Food was great and the portions were very generous which has resulted in my current condition of overindulgence bliss as I write this.

Prices were more than competitive and I will be a repeat customer

Got a takeaway last night - started with some proper tasty prawn toast before diving into the mains. The sweet and sour chicken was really good! My partner really liked their chicken curry. Staff were dead helpful when I picked it up, and their app made ordering proper easy. Would defo order again!

Great food and service, have used the Tak Bo for over 20 years and never had a bad meal.
Usually collect as we live locally and now use the online booking app which is excellent. Wouldn’t buy Chinese food from anywhere else……excellent 👍

We placed an order and were informed it would be delivered within an hour. However, after waiting for 2.5 hours with no updates, we were left extremely disappointed, especially as we had children waiting for their food. Despite the significant delay, the delivery was eventually attempted without any communication or an apology for the inconvenience caused. This level of service is unacceptable, and we felt compelled to refuse the order and seek alternative options. Unfortunately, this experience has left us with no intention of using this service again in the future.

Rank absolutely rank! Tak Bo should be absolutely ashamed for selling such utter rank food. Disgusting is too nice word! We normally buy from The Great Wall in Holywell and The Wong Kwok in Flint. However neither deliver. Although we couldn't find the Tak Bo to doing delivery a friend told us they did.
1. We were absolutely gobsmacked by their prices
2. When it eventually arrived it was the most rank food we have ever eaten.
We got told delivery in 60 minutes. Nearly 1hr and 40minutes later we rang up to cancel. They told us we couldn't ad the food was on its way. We should of gone with our gut instinct and refused it. But us being polite we accepted it.
OMG what a wrong decision to make:

We ordered:
Chefs Special Hot & Spicy Chow Mein
Char Su Chow Mein
Portion of bean sprouts in garlic
Large portion of chips
Large portion of curry sauce
4 large pancake chop suey rolls
1 bah of prawn crackers
Total price was £41.90 and £4.50 for delivery on top.
We were not made aware of they at all. Had we of been we would of most probably said no but as we thought £41.90 we accepted.
To say it was a disappointment was beyond.
It was absolutely disgusting. Considering chowmein it was like some noodles out of a Lidl packet. There was no flavour whatsoever to the char su pork. There was also no flavour to the Singapore hot & spicy chow Mein?
A large chips ha hal think they seem forget what a large chips was. So we emptied them and had 24 chips.

Then we opened the bean sprouts. I asked if they could be plain in garlic. He said they are plain but don't come in Gaelic just plain well they were having a laugh they same in a skank slimes sauce with carrots.
The pancake rolls were burnt. God knows what they had been doing.
Prawn crackers & curry sauce absolutely spot on. But for that short promise I would avoid this place like the plague. It deserves a massive fat zero.
Save your breath go pick up your Chinese as this place obviously no morals and doesn't care what their customers think about their food.

Food is average but the service is absolutely shocking. Delivery is always delayed no matter what time you ask for it and if you ever call you get rude staff. Last time I'm ordering here. Used to be the best place in town but now it's just shocking and not worth waiting 2 hours for. Pathetic.

Majorly overpriced! Paid £50 for 2 main dishes, couple of sides and drinks, when I paid I thought this better be the best takeaway I ever had for the price, sadly if was actually terrible and made me feel like I’ve wasted £50.

Absolutely disgusting, extremely overpriced. Spent nearly £50 there for over cooked food that isn’t even edible. A little container of salt & pepper chicken is £7.30 that you can’t even eat! As you can see in the photos you can pull the lot of salt & pepper chicken out with a fork. Re-heated chips as well 🤮 How they are even allowed to serve this is beyond me!
