It is a weekly market that brings life to the street. The market is on from 8 am to 2 pm, with lot of food, clothing items, household items and fresh vegetables and fruits.
Some of the food are freshly prepared and range from local, Indian, middle eastern to Far eastern.
Cheese and butchery trucks are available and are popular.
The fruits, are not always farmer's produce and come in packed from bigger producers.

However overall a good experience

I was introduced to this market by two friends of mine who live in Geneva. They come here every Saturday and they know that whenever I come visit - they must take me here. The reasons I like this market is because it has everything and because it is authentic. Farmers from the area come here every Saturday to sell their goods - bread, cheese, fruits, vegetables, chicken, beef, seafood and more. There's also food stalls here where you could buy prepared food from across the world. I can't wait to visit hers again.

Great local Saturday Market. Food selection very good. Would advise cycling or walking as parking is limited.
More expensive than most French markets due to location near Switzerland (normal for this area).

The Saturday market has on offer fresh produce from fruits, vegetables, halal meat, fish, bread, flowers and many more. The best time to come to the Saturday Market in Ferney Voltaire is from 9 to 11am, 1 pm is considered too late as most vendors by then have sold their produce and are packing to go. If you are coming from Geneva, you may take Bus F from Gare Cornavin (Geneva) and disembark at the stop Avenue du Jura (France). Please ensure that you carry your passport and legitimation card as you will cross the border into France. Also one is allowed to carry only 1kg of meat from France to Switzerland, there is steep fine for access and this is calculated by the gram.
