I ordered the broken rice with pork chop and two egg rolls. The food wasn't bad, but my porkchop near the bone looked raw. I also didn't receive any sauces that usually come with these orders which made the meal feel incomplete as it was missing the sweet and salty flavors that balance out the rest of the meal. I usually don't leave reviews but the lack of sauce made the meal disappointing and the health hazard from raw pork lol. To give them credit I feel like with the appropriate sauces, the meal would be good, but the raw pork chop is concerning.

Lots of options and big baguettes which I appreciate. I’ve had the bahn mii here and it was flavorful and hit the mark. The Thai tea taste like it’s from a powder. The lunch special is good and I recommend getting that. I think this place has a lot of potential, but it’s still trying to figure itself out. There are a couple timing things and the flavor is still being refined.

Personally I would skip the spring rolls. It’s more noodles than toppings. The popcorn chicken was good-I wish there was some topping sauce with it.

As a chef I appreciate good food and have eaten Vietnamese cuisine around the globe. This place had fresh meats with a flavorful broth and well prepared noodles with all of the traditional accompaniments. The spring rolls and egg rolls were delicious. A few critiques... first the dipping sauce needs a bit more acid and body due to too much fish sauce in the mix. Second like many places this one suffers from staffing shortages but our server was excellent. Finally it is a safety hazard to serve food in chipped bowls. This is by far the better of the two in this area.

The seats at Pho Sai Gon need to be filled immediately.

Seriously, I don't know how this restaurant is not constantly busy. My husband and I dined in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and aside from two other couples, we were the only ones there. The atmosphere itself was clean and inviting. There were signs up saying they're short-staffed so I see how it could potentially be an issue. We waited for a bit before someone was able to greet us.

But once we got our food, that didn't matter much.

For our appetizer, we ordered the vegetarian egg rolls. I typically prefer the meat-version but Pho Sai Gon's has shrimp in it and we have to be cautious of a seafood allergy. Regardless, it was delicious. Fried perfectly and the veggies inside weren't overcooked or soggy.

Despite the summer temperatures, I was craving pho. I ordered the double cut beef choice with flank steak and tendon. It was so good! Our waiter also let me know that Thai chilis and chili oil were an option if I wanted them. The Thai chilis were no joke when it comes to the heat-factor but I love spicy foods so this was great for me.

My husband had the grilled pork bahn mi and really enjoyed it! He's typically not that adventurous with his food so it made me happy that he wants to come back.

For drinks, I had a taro smoothie and my husband had a strawberry smoothie - we both added boba. The drinks were refreshing and not overly sweet. I've had terrible boba drinks around town but these were tasty.

And bonus: they have a couple of great lunch specials so stop in before 2pm! We'll be back.

Great ambiance, service and food. A fresh and beautiful presentation. The great combination of flavors was the best. Appreciated how the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great evening. We will be back!!

service is good, brisket is delicious. but cost me 5mins to find the right parking place because the parking lot says no parking after 4:30pm

Best Pho ever ! Soup is deep.My friend got Banh mi and he said it’s the best Banh mi ever as well. Jo was so present and friendly also super knowledgeable with what they have. If you’re in town. TRY IT 💯😋 I’ll be regular now every time I’m in town.

I’m not sure who the people are that are rating this restaurant poorly but they must not like good food. The vermicelli and beef noodle soup are both outstanding along with their coconut shrimp. Great service and a cool location. One of my favorite spots in Bozeman for take out and dine in!
