This store needs to be shut down immediately. I am writing this review on behalf of my friend who was targeted and harassed. The employee’s and owner's “sales tactics” are actually just harassing and bullying customers into purchasing items. They change prices and pressure customers into buying more items until they take as much money as they can. They physically usher people into their store to trap them. The employees intentionally fail to mention that all purchases are final sale and they refuse to refund money for returns. They are intimidating, threatening, and predatory. After approaching mall security to file a complaint, we overheard that mall security has had to get involved SEVERAL times. We also heard that the employees have preyed on all people, including vulnerable individuals and people with special needs. These shady and harmful business practices are completely unacceptable and La Savon needs to be removed from the mall.

~~~BUYER BEWARE~~~
This company is extremely predatory and shady. They will try anything they can to scam you. DO NOT give them your money. Their products and services are overpriced and are meant to lure you into buying into them. They will over charge you then immediately claim they can't refund you.
We were overcharged and told we couldn't refund the price at the point of sell. The employee told us "No, we can no do that. I'll give you free stuff and a hug" She ACTUALLY came out from behind the counter and tried to hug us and then shooed us out the store.
We had to come back MULTIPLE times to demand a refund and even mall security had to accompany us. Finally mall concierge gave us the number for the OWNER of the store. The owner was the shadiest of all, demanding to know how we got his number and trying to get us to hang up. Finally he just ended up hanging up on us! To which we had to return to the store once again where they finally refunded us as we listened to the owner argue with his employee about it incessantly and luridly over the phone.
These are some of the shadiest business people I have ever come across. Please be wary if you decide to do business with them, but my advice, is simply. Don't.
Stay away from here, the sales people will not take "No!" for an answer. They lure you into the store with free samples, then keep pushing you to buy their products. Even though my husband kept saying no and told them he was laid off, they bullied us until we agreed to buy something. I'm thankful we only spent $30, it looks like others have been swindled out of much more money. They also did a bait and switch, when I opened my product it was not the item the lady demonstrated on my hand.When we walked past the store to leave the mall, purposefully on the other side of the corridor, one of the salespeople called out to my husband to try to draw him in again!
On 10/23/23 I was leaving work at Morgan Jewelers. I always keep my head down, eyes locked on my phone, and a mean face to make it obvious to NOT approach me. I must’ve been walking too close to the wall because I’m all of a sudden getting testers shoved in my face, me looking up to decline must’ve been a sign to the worker to pull me into the store. I said no multiple times, but I eventually caved in to the tester spiel. The worker kept asking if I will buy, I said no and tried to get out of chair. He kept reducing the price and threw in more products, I kept saying no and that I need to go. Once I hopped off the chair he pushed me to the register and asked how much I could do, I said I didn’t have any money and needed to go. This went on for 15 minutes. All I said was no and kept trying to make my way to the doors. I guess my guard came down and the trauma responses kicked in because next thing I know is I’m buying $161.18 worth of product, this made my bank account overdraft. I figured I’ll come back later this week to return it all because I didn’t see a sign saying no refunds and he never mentioned it. I exited the store and immediately started crying, I spent all of my gas money that I needed to last me two weeks because I’m just a college student. Yesterday on 10/26/23 I went back to the store to return everything, nothing was touched or opened, all still packaged. The two workers who were there repeatedly told me no refunds, I told them I wouldn’t leave without one. It went on and on and turned into a screaming match. They kept telling me to call customer service, when I asked if customer service will give me a refund the two workers told me they wouldn’t answer my questions. They got security, I told security everything that happened and I broke down crying to them. Security had me fill out a complaint form.
DO NOT GO HERE. Stay as far away as possible when walking by this store. It’s all a scam, there is no way these products are worth HUNDREDS of dollars.
Im waiting to hear from the store owner about a refund, If I don’t get one then I hope to be able to resell the products.
Thank you to security for being so kind and helpful. I’m glad to have them around, I greatly appreciate your help. <3
I was walking in the mall just looking and had no intentions on buying anything. I know they pull you into their store for samples and to make a quick sale so I always walk on the other side. That wasn’t enough because the lady came across and pulled me into their store and I was to nice to just ignore and walk away also the fact I was alone. Her accent was hard to understand and she was asking me lots of questions so my anxiety was through the roof. She asked my name and proceeded to say her Chihuahua has the same name. She kept telling me she loved me and loved my name of course she was being nice until she pointed out some acne spots on my face and said I had a baby face which I found very rude. Not only that she was swearing the whole time which is extremely unprofessional in my opinion. She repeatedly told me she was gonna make me a deal and sell me 2 items and kept asking me how much? I was confused and kept saying i don’t know and then I asked if it was free of cost cause I told her I had no money which I think upset her cause she rudely put the products away and told me to leave. I said thank you and she told me to not thank her cause I didn’t buy anything. I’m just taken back it was extremely humiliating and disgusting. They should be out of business.
I was minding my own business trying to finish my shopping at University Mall when I encountered La Savon. A woman said "Hey!" and basically pulled me into the store. I felt like I needed to be polite so I asked her if she needed anything. Ultimately she roped me into conversation asking where I was from and then offered to give me a sample. I didn't want her sample but I felt like I had engaged with her for too long to outright refuse so I agreed and thought "she'll just give me a sample and a little spiel and we can call it good."
Nope. Within seconds somehow I was sitting in a chair with her spreading some cream on my hand. That sort thing freaks me out and I don't like people I don't know touching me. So already I was out of my comfort zone. During this I noticed there was now an employee sitting behind watching me and two others hanging around outside the store. NO OTHER CUSTOMERS. Which should have been a red flag. These people who at the time seemed to be doing their own thing - I now know were circling like vultures.
She rushed me over to the counter and I had somehow been convinced into buying two products worth $160. The woman rang me up and asked for cash or card without even telling me how much I was paying. I told her card and handed it over. This is where it gets good.
After I've already handed her my card - all of a sudden she’s looking at what I'm buying and throwing out better options - better deals with more free items, free facials - all of this quick change, manipulation speaking at the speed of Speedy Gonzales in an accent that I couldn't quite understand fully and quite aggressively might I add.
At this point I start to realize what this is and I am incredibly uncomfortable.
I will add that during this incredibly daunting situation the other male employee had navigated closer to the front of the store and was sitting basically in line of where I would need to go to just walk out. (Which i couldn't do anyway in hind sight because the clerk still had my card).
At this point I just wanted to leave and I felt pressured to buy something in order to get out of the situation. I did not consent to a larger purchase but with my card out of my possession I couldn't just walk away. I was just trying to make this purchase (TO GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE) and she then started trying to sell me some ridiculous machine that's supposedly 4,000 dollars - but she will give me a deal and sell it to me for only $1,000. Gee thanks.
Like I said at that point I knew what was happening so I told her no and that there was no way I could afford that. I didn't even have that much money lying around to spend. She kept trying to lower the price and at one point said. "Hey you say you don't have enough money why don't we just try your card and if it goes through great and if it doesn't no harm."
HELL NO
I was polite. I was kind. I said no multiple times. I said I was sure multiple times and somehow still finally left that place after spending $60 - Simply because I wanted to get the hell out of there. And they still tried to get me to spend more until the very last second.
I was manipulated, I was coerced, I was talked over and I was ignored. No was not an answer in this store and I couldn't just walk away.
I have never felt so violated in my life and violated is the only word I can think to use to describe what happened to me today.
Do not. I repeat do not go into this store under any circumstances. Do not accept a sample or their stupid conversation.
I am saying this for everybody's safety. Please do not go in there.
This place roped my friend into the store by physically corralling her and then held her actual credit card hostage away from her and kept saying different amounts and different products and two men blocked the doors out. She was panicking and they wouldn’t let her leave until she let them swipe her card. This behavior is beyond gross sales tactics- this is harassing behavior bordering on or even crossing into illegal behavior. Security already had to get involved for one girl, are the police next perhaps? The mall should do the right thing and shut this place down. It’s not safe or normal behavior.
