I stayed a few nights for a friend's wedding. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. Location is great with some parking available in a yard next to the hotel. One of the staff was very helpful & seemed to handle everything, even offered to go home to fetch an iron for one of the guests!

One of the nicest small hotels we've stayed in in France and great value. We had a warm welcome from the owners, who showed us around and were very happy to recommend restaurants and make bookings. Very nicely decorated with good beds and bathrooms and the breakfast is excellent.||The park next to the hotel is delightful - don't miss the arboretum. Chateauneuf is a nice little town, on a pretty stretch of the Loire, and the only downside is the limited choice of good restaurants, especially early in the week.||We also made pleasant excursions to St Benoit sur Loire with its marvellous basilica, and attractive Sully sur Loire with its chateau.||All in all, if you are staying in the Orleans area I don't think you could make a better choice.

I booked this hotel as it was close to a supplier I was visiting. I booked a superior room and it was still quite basic, though good value for money at £49, The outside of the hotel and communal areas are gothic looking and nice and airy. The lady who seemed to run the hotel was very friendly, though spoke very little English but we got by with smiles and gesturing of hands! Typical French breakfast of croissants and bread. The hotel is right in the centre of the village however nothing seemed to be open, apart from the pizza place opposite which was too busy to serve me. Room was clean with nice bathroom, though bed was a bit saggy.

We stopped over for a night on our way home. It was an incredibly hot day, the room did not have air con but we given a fan, which was a great relief! The owner is a very friendly lady who is super dog friendly, which we loved. I have given this hotel a three as the room had no cold water, the WiFi did not work and the breakfast was not great. The hotel is situated next to a beautiful park but beware finding somewhere to eat in the village will be a case of pizza, pizza or pizza.

I have stayed here before and some rooms including the one I was in had been refurbished since my last stay, however this has been done with a lack of attention. Though rooms are nicer than they were, sockets were loose, a fridge in the corner with nothing in it, and when I plugged in was very noisy. But the worst thing my room was stifling hot and there was no fan available. Very little sleep. The lady who runs the hotel is really sweet., cheerful and helpful and breakfast is of a good standard. However I will not be staying again in the summer

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago while on a driving trip of the Loire. This is a beautiful hotel and the hosts are so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was just delightful and the rooms were clean, comfortable with lovely bathroom. The owners were also very helpful when we asked questions about where to eat in the evening and a few other tourist spots etc. Would without doubt stay here again.

Unfortunately I have to write a bad review and that's even though the landlady is nice. The hotel only opens at 5.30pm. We waited for hours outside at a temperature of 35 °. When it opened, it turned out that the landlady was in a place that was simply not open or interesting, with customers waiting outside, by the way, we were a few people, not just us. The rooms have no air conditioners and no fans despite the heavy heat. Breakfast was minimal or less and overall I would never get there again. This is the first time we have to wait hours outside the hotel and we have been in hotels all over the world. Even in remote hotels in Asia or Africa there is at least a fan in the room. And poor service.Zero score

Driving through France, we stayed at this hotel for one night and found it to be clean, comfortable and well-situated for easy walks to nearby restaurants. Our hosts actually made a booking at a very good local restaurant for us. Breakfast is excellent - substantial and tasty. My other half's gluten-free requirements were met with a refreshing lack of fuss and some surprisingly good substitutes.
