I recently stumbled upon this beautifully themed Sunglass Hut while waiting in line for the Pirates of the Caribbean ride across the way. I had this giftcard for ages and decided to pop in and find a pair instead of waiting in a 2 hour line with my party. I was expecting a specialty-like store that just sold Mickey Mouse glasses at an extreme price, turns out it was a full-service Sunglass Hut! Staff were super friendly and helpful. I came on a busier day and a staff member immediately greeted me when I walked in and helped me find the glasses I was looking for in less than 10 minutes. I ended up purchasing a pair of Oakley glasses that matched the online price which saved time from me asking them to price match. Disney didn’t hike up the prices here!?

Super helpful and friendly stuff. They sun popular sunglass brands like Ray Bands, Oakley, Dolce Gabana, etc.. Marcella fixed, adjusted, and extended my Ray Bands till I got the perfect fit. They offer discounts for Disney employees and other Disney goer perks. Highly recommend! Staff is awesome, store is nice, 5 stars

Went here about 6 days ago because my wife was interested in some new ray bans and let me say we were greeted quickly and helped thoroughly by the team at this location. We ended up getting the sunglasses and really enjoyed this experience however my wife wasn't sure if she like the style that she purchased and left thinking she may return them and go with a newer pair of the style she currently has. Skip to 5 days later and my wife decided she was going to return them since she brought them home and left them on the kitchen counter while continuing to go with her old pair. We returned to this location and "oh boy" this was a much different experience and about as enjoyable as stepping in a warm pile of dog poo. We were again greeted quickly and very friendly from the team until we said we had a return to which we received simply "ok" then the two young ladies went about their business. We stood there wondering what was going on for a minute then decided to go to the counter where we again stated we had a return so the team member said let me grab my manager. The manager comes to "help" and opens the box to pull out the case which the ray bans had never come out of after we left from the original purchase. She looks at them for about a nano second and says we can't take these they are scratched up really bad. I replied well that isn't right because we haven't opened them since we left your store. She said oh well we can't take them so I asked her to show me the scratches and she did so about as fast as humanly possible and the scratches she was showing us must be made out of pixie dust because they were not there. She refuses to take care of this for us and the whole time was extremely rude and condescending. After trying to figure out what she was talking about for around 5 minutes we said forget it and wanted to just end this miserable experience. She gave us the glasses back but we stood there waiting for the rest of the packaging while the manager just turned her back and ignored us so we had to ask to get our stuff back so we could leave. I would rather paper cut my retina than have to deal with this so called manager here. I think it boils down to them not wanting to lose sales and hurt their commission but when you put that over guest experience you end up hurting your business in the long run. She is absolutely the worst excuse for manager I've ever dealt with and I will never step foot in there again. I went to another sunglass hut the next day and easily returned the glasses. I didn't tell them what happened and wanted to see how they would handle it and when they opened the glasses the goggles and said did you even wear these to which I replied no we did not and she said you can tell because they don't even look like you opened them. Thank you to the other sunglass hut for making it right but shame on the manager at the Disney location for lying on her application because she clearly isn't cut out to provide customer service. I would have had better luck buying sunglasses at the 711.

I absolutely CANNOT believe that I’m revising this review. We have been purchasing our sunglasses at this location for years; however, we had a terrible experience today. Mami followed my son and son-in-law around the store, never once asking them if they needed help. When they left the store, she motioned with her finger and thumb that they were “this close.” I went in to ask her what she meant by that and she acted as though she didn’t speak English, so I spoke to her in Spanish. She proceeded to tell me that it was her job to watch them to make sure that they didn’t steal anything. I have ZERO problem with her following them around the store. It’s rude, but whatever, I’m sure they lose a lot, consider how easy it would be to take a pair of glasses. But to taunt them as they left the store, insinuating that they were “this close” to getting caught, is COMPLETELY disgusting. I’ve never seen Mami at this location, and I sincerely hope to never see her again. How much I spend in the store should be irrelevant, but I can’t imagine making a future purchase here.
