Staff and location is great. That's it.

A more precise description would be "Ibis broken" since most things were broken and dysfunctional. I understand the concept of budget which should still include a normal functioning.

DO NOT CONSIDER TAKING BREAKFAST AT ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

It's one of the most disgusting breakfasts I ever had. Pre-packed plastic food. No taste, and we had sickness and diarrhea from it. The next quality level under it (although you cannot call it °quality") would simply be rotten food

Cycle touring camping and my buddy had an accident in Blois on the way to camp at Beaugency. So ambulance called and touring bikes and gear left at a good Samaritans. 5 hours in accident and emergency and no-where to stay. The taxi driver dumped us here and drove off.
The legendary Francois (who deserves a pay rise) informed us that the hotel was full, but seeing that we were covered in dried blood and one of us withheavily bandaged legs went beyond the call of duty to find us a room at another hotel. Blois was heavily booked that night so it took 2 more taxi rides.
I booked us to stay the next 2 nights at Ibis, so I could stay local and get the bicycles (from the Samaritans) and get the crash damaged one fixed (Phillipe cycles).
Rooms were clean. Showers were hot, beds were comfy. Air conditioning. A little bit cramped with all our bicycle panniers spread everywhere and a lack of a kettle to make a cup of tea.
Coffee for breakfast was good. Breakfast not really, but they had a toaster (reminding me of a coffin bing lowered to be incinerated. As it lowers the bread into the toaster mechanically) which is always good as we never have toast whilst camping.

The staff are welcoming, the rooms are clean, There's Air Con, a decent breakfast an all round good well run hotel, for a decent price.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was! It wasn't too far of a walk from the train station, and the scenery was lovely the whole way. Room was great, bathroom was adorable with huge windows that opened up for fresh air, and air con worked fine. Beds were comfy, and staff were superb. We were really impressed with how well the guy who checked us in spoke English even tho he was from South America and this was his third(?) language. The lift was broken one day, so boo on that, but they did get it fixed by the next day. DO recommend this place highly.

Good enough for a short visit to this area and all amenities were there, the ladies on the front desk were helpful for what was needed and the breakfast was added on after arrival. Would choose this chain again though there are other hotels by Accor in the local area. Good room facilities though a bit small in size however a comfortable bed and reasonably good breakfast.

The hotel is old and in need of refurbishment. I appreciate the rooms are deliberately austere as this is a budget hotel. These are particularly unwelcoming. Despite large lifts and wide corridors I was not allowed to store my cycle in my room. I presume they don't have a problem with pushchairs, prams and suitcases. I had to store my cycle in what looked like an overflow dining room. I was assured it would be locked and alarmed. When I came down in the morning the door was wide open. I've not had this problem in any other IBIS that I have stayed in.

It was a good surprise since the rating on booking was only 7.2. It certainly deserves at least 8. Very nice guy at the reception. The rooms were bigger than average Ibis hotels rooms. All clean. We had a room on the 3rd floor with nice view to the town. Very well situated near the center. The breakfast is simple but ok. You can have croissants, breads including dark bread which you generally dont have at these hotels, 2 kinds of cheese and all the regular things. Even soja milk is offered for the lactose sensitive ones. However no fresh fruits. Only a fruit salad from canned fruits. I think this hotel has an ecxellent quality price ratio.

Lovely staff and very well situated to explore Blois. However. The state of the hotel is just appalling. It’s old, scruffy and despite being cheap, when you compare to recently renovated ibis budget, it’s just incredible. Damage to all walls, full holes in the wall (see pic). Bathroom seems a little better. I would not stay there again.
