A super experience. Very informative and enlightening. We got to be hands on with many pieces of equipment. Really helped us understand the conflict. Then we toured the beaches and American cemetery with Guide Ed Robinson. A truly memorable day. Heightened my respect for the men involved.

I had the privilege of spending a day at Normandy with Stuart of the D-Day Academy. He was most one of the most outstanding tour guides that I have ever had, anywhere and at any time. He was knowledgeable, passionate about the subject, open to questions and provided answers and for the answers that he could not completely give, he followed up by offering his email for further communication and Q&A's. We started with Stuart at the Academy's building/warehouse, and travelled with him to the beaches, through the bunkers, walked the fields with craters from allied bombs, and he also guided us through the emotional and unforgettable American cemetery. The sights, the experiences and Stuart, made it a day that will impact me forever, and a day that I will not just never forget but will relish forever.

Really enjoyed the afternoon with D-Day Academy. Retired French Tanker gave us an overview with maps of the events of DDay. As a military history buf, I learned some new interesting aspects of the campaign. Academy is full of interesting pieces of the military equipment, uniforms and flags. Family enjoyed wandering around the building and handling some of the pieces. Then the team took us over to a Commonwealth cemetery nearby and we learned about the local history and the habits of Commonwealth handling of burials. Wonderful educational day.

We were there last week with a TAUCK tour. It was terrific. You MUST have Eddie guide you to the beaches and American Cemetery. He is a treasure. He will bring the experience to life. If you went on your own you would see ruble. With Eddie you see the battle. Eddie thinks in three dimensions. He is terrific. He has a quirky fun sense fo humor which our group loved. Best experience of our trip to France. Thank you Eddie. From me and my chicken.
